How do I move the time?

Drag any scale left or right. Every city moves with it. Tap the red pill at the top to come back to now; on a phone you can also shake it.

Why does a city show a time like +5:45?

Not every time zone is a whole number of hours from yours. Nepal is 5 hours 45 minutes ahead of UTC, parts of Canada are 3 hours 30 minutes behind. TimeMachine shows the real difference to your own time.

The difference to a city changed by an hour

Daylight saving time starts and ends on different days in different countries, and some do not use it at all. For a few weeks in spring and autumn the difference between two cities can be an hour more or less than usual. The scales show this correctly, including on the day of the change.

What do I get for free, and what is Premium?

Free: your own place and one city. Premium: unlimited cities, lists, and friends’ time zones and busy time. 1.99 USD per month or 9.99 USD per year, with a 14-day trial.

How do I cancel or restore a subscription?

• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → TimeMachine.
• Android: Google Play → profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Restore on a new device: sign in with the same account in the app, then Profile → Restore purchases.

What do my friends see?

Your name, picture, city, time zone, and — if you allow it — when you are busy. Never what the meeting is. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Delete account. Everything stored on our server is removed right away. Cancel your subscription separately in the store. If you cannot open the app, write to support@thetimemachine.global from the e-mail address of your account.
